Influencer Marketing Manager
Overview: What makes something a real gift? It’s thoughtful, it’s unique, and it’s exciting to receive. The RealReal has a wide assortment of real gifts, for all the real people in your life. Together, we helped shoppers dress for the season, treat themselves, and gift everyone on their list.
The Creative Ask: Share your fashion obsession(s) and style them. Focus can be either items you’d gift, or item’s you’d wear. Focus on hero piece(s) – recognizable designer shoes, bags, and/or statement clothing items.
The Results:
- Contracted, briefed, and managed 30 influencers and the creation of their deliverables, scoped across Instagram, TikTok, and Substack.
- Substack-first creators drove over $55K in tracked affiliate sales, representing the majority of total holiday revenue, while delivering a 7.75% average CTR across Substack posts.
- Social-first creators delivered 1.2M+ impressions and an average engagement rate of ~3.2%, outperforming The RealReal’s social engagement benchmark (~2.0–2.5%).
- Social engagement meaningfully translated into intent. Social drove our strongest direct affiliate sales to date during the holiday period, contributing materially to total revenue with $36K referred.
- Shopping content on social outperformed consignment content for CTR and direct affiliate sales, whereas consignment content outperformed on engagement signals (engagement rates, saves, and shares).
- Across the board, our holiday campaign delivered standout results from influencers, reflecting strong casting + creative fit and resonance with influencers' audiences.
