The RealReal | October 2025
Date
October 2025
Role
Influencer Marketing Manager
Overview: Resale is for second chances, and The RealReal makes consignment a seamless process. Together, we helped inspire luxury consignors let go of pieces that no longer brought them joy.
The Creative Ask: Show us the designer pieces you’re ready to let go—and the new life it deserves to find with TRR.
The Results:
- Despite October’s focus on consignment, Substack creators outperformed benchmarks across every metric - averaging a 15.4% CTR (3× platform benchmark for Consignment content), and ~$2.20 ROAS (+60% vs. benchmark). Courtney Grow, Melanie Masarin, and Angie Uh drove 95% of total affiliate sales ($44K+), reinforcing Substack as the brand’s most effective organic sales channel. Notably, these influencers leaned into closet circularity as the message for their Substack posts - sharing both their consignment plans and items, and The RealReal's October promotion, alongside a look at what they were shopping on TRR.
- Social influencers achieved an average 2.2% engagement rate (+72% vs. Consingment benchmark), led by Kia Marie (9.6%) and Marche Robinson (4.0%), with Tania Sarin delivering 501K impressions — 5X more than any other partner this October, and the third-highest performance to date in 2025. While CTR (0.37%) fell under benchmark (1.11%), social continued to excel as an awareness and storytelling platform.
- Influencer content generated 806 saves and 1,092 shares, with Tania Sarin (881 shares) and Kia Marie (248 saves) leading performance. These are among the strongest intent-driven engagement metrics of the year, confirming the consignment message resonated and inspired meaningful audience action.
